Brief:
This year our course, Visual Communications at IADT, is undergoing a name change to Graphic Design Plus+ in order to appeal to more applicants. We were asked to articulate the courses core philosophy, key differences and advantages in a new visual identity for the course.
Approach:
We chose to focus on our online presence as well as our open day enviromental graphics as they are the main points of contact for prospective students.
Rationale:
We landed on the layering and arranging concept as we feel it communicates some of the key points which we wanted to express about the course. These include the iterative process which each project goes through before it reaches its final stage. It also highlights the traditional/analogue aspects of the course.
